It's not that difficult even with hex editor. mediainfo shows: Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.07.06, BL+EL+RPU, Blu-ray compatible / SMPTE ST 2094 App 4, Version 1, HDR10+ Profile B compatible. Your only way is to edit this metadata later. It also use to write some crap instead of correct one. Resolve will inset HDR metadata to MOV, but there is no way to specify custom values.
I have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, film, the lossless copy. M2TS files onto drive, that drive into my UHD DVD player, and bang. Make sure my cable chain is all HDMI 2.1 from the player to the receiver, from the receiver to the TV.
Not sure if Resolve has functionality for aligning metadata. open up the package Streams,and grab the largest files.
